Olumeka joined Girls Inc.’s Eureka! Teen Achievement Program because she wanted to be an engineer. Through Eureka!, Olumeka landed an internship at Southern Research. After five years of hands-on activities, field trips, and speakers, Eureka! led Olumeka to pursue a newly found passion for forensic psychology. Her time in Girls Inc. provided her with educational resources and networking opportunities that prepared her for higher education. Girls Inc. also paved her way to college by awarding her a national scholarship. Today, thanks in no small part to you, Olumeka is a sophomore at Oglethorpe University in Atlanta, pursuing her goal to work as a psychologist for the United Nations.
